Florida Center for Reading Research

The Florida Center for Reading Research is a non-profit organization based in Tallahassee, Florida. Founded in 2002, the Center is jointly administered by Florida State University's Learning Systems Institute and the College of Arts and Sciences. The Florida Center for Reading Research is dedicated to advancing the understanding and improvement of reading instruction and assessment. Their research focuses on fundamental aspects of reading, such as growth, assessment, and instruction, with the aim of benefiting students across Florida and the nation. The Center also actively disseminates information about research-based literacy practices for children in pre-school through 12th grade.
