FENNER CONSERVANCY

Fenner Conservancy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Lansing, Michigan. Operating as the governing body for both Fenner Nature Center and Fenner Nature Preschool, the organization connects individuals with nature through conservation, education, and stewardship initiatives. Fenner Nature Center, encompassing 134 acres of publicly accessible green space, offers visitors over four miles of trails, diverse natural features, and a Visitor Center showcasing live native reptiles and amphibians, songbird, deer, and wild turkey viewing areas, and hands-on exhibits. Fenner Nature Preschool, located on a 53-acre property adjacent to Sycamore Creek and the Red Cedar River, provides a nature-based preschool program for children aged 33 months to 5 years, inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Both Fenner Nature Center and Fenner Nature Preschool prioritize nature-based learning experiences, fostering exploration, discovery, and environmental awareness.
