Fair Housing Center for Rights Research

Fair Housing Center for Rights Research is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Established in 1983, the organization began as a grassroots coalition advocating for fair housing opportunities for residents of Northeast Ohio. Since its inception, Fair Housing Center for Rights Research has evolved into a focused fair housing agency, employing 12 individuals. Fair Housing Center for Rights Research works to protect and expand fair housing rights, eliminate housing discrimination, and promote integrated communities. Their efforts encompass research, educational programs, public policy initiatives, and enforcement activities. While initially known as the Metropolitan Strategy Group, the organization adopted the name Housing Research & Advocacy Center from 2003 to 2018.
