Evergreen Park Recreation District

Evergreen Park and Recreation District (EPRD) is a Special District operating out of Evergreen, Colorado. It is a self-governing entity with its own taxing authority, serving approximately 23,000 residents across the communities of Evergreen, Bergen Park, Indian Hills, Kittredge, and Marshdale. The District, one of the largest in the state, spans 50,000 acres and is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the residents. EPRD provides a wide range of programs, activities, and attractions for both residents and visitors. Offerings include the Buchanan Park Recreation Center, Wulf Recreation Center, Evergreen Lake House, Evergreen Lake Skating Rink, various parks, and athletic fields. The District hosts numerous special events throughout the year, including the Evergreen Summer Concert Series, Evergreen Trail Racing Series, Evergreen Kids Triathlon, Glow Run 5K, Evergreen Dawn to Dusk Trail Race, and others. In addition, EPRD publishes three Recreation Guides and a Summer Camp Guide annually to showcase its offerings.
