European Association of Social Anthropologists

The European Association of Social Anthropologists (EASA) is a professional association based in the United States. EASA is a relatively small organization with 5 to 9 employees. As a non-profit organization, EASA's mission is to promote and advance the field of social anthropology within Europe. EASA's primary activities include organizing biennial conferences that bring together social anthropologists from across Europe and publishing the academic journal "Social Anthropology/Anthropologie Sociale." This peer-reviewed journal is released four times a year and is freely accessible to all EASA members.
