EU NEIGHBOURS east

EU NEIGHBOURS east is a non-profit organization based in the United States. The organization has 151 employees and generates over $10,000 in annual revenue. EU NEIGHBOURS east is a four-year program (2020-2024) designed to enhance communication between the European Union and the countries of its Eastern Neighbourhood: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine. The program focuses on improving public understanding of the European Union and its policies, building resilience against disinformation, and fostering communication between the EU and its Eastern partners. EU NEIGHBOURS east accomplishes this through a variety of activities, including thematic communication campaigns, public diplomacy actions, opinion polling, and outreach initiatives in collaboration with youth activists, media partners, national authorities, civil society organizations, academia, and professional networks. A key aspect of the program is its management of the Young European Ambassadors network. EU NEIGHBOURS east builds upon the successes of previous projects such as OPEN east (2015-2020) and the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre project (2009-2015). The Regional Communication Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood (2020-2024) is implemented by a consortium led by B&S Europe.
