Equity Research Cooperative

The Equity Research Cooperative (EqRC) is a non-profit research collective based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Employing 11 people, the organization generates $2.5 million in annual revenue. EqRC advances the social, economic, educational, and political interests of communities of color through community-engaged research, advocacy, and redistribution. The organization strategically redirects financial resources, academic expertise, and operational infrastructure to social justice initiatives, organizations, and movements fighting structural oppression. Driven by a commitment to social justice, EqRC envisions a future where Black and Brown communities experience reparative justice and the systems of white supremacy, heteropatriarchy, and capitalism are eradicated. This vision is deeply rooted in the legacies of past social justice movements and the shared radical love within the organization.
