EPIC

EPIC is a small non-profit organization based in Malden, Massachusetts, with a staff of five. The organization is dedicated to empowering young people with disabilities to become active community leaders and advocates for inclusion. EPIC achieves its mission through a two-pronged approach: direct service programs and impactful training and consulting initiatives. EPIC's flagship program, EPIC Service Warriors, is a year-long leadership development and community service program designed for youth with disabilities between the ages of 16 and 23. Participants in this program engage in community service projects, learn practical leadership skills, and gain a deeper understanding of their local communities. Through hands-on experiences, Service Warriors cultivate their leadership potential and develop the skills necessary to pursue their future goals. In addition to its direct service program, EPIC offers specialized training and consulting services to address ableism and promote inclusion across various sectors. EPIC's unique training curriculum provides individuals with and without disabilities the opportunity to explore critical topics such as disability awareness, ableism, and inclusive practices.
