Empowerment Resource Center

Empowerment Resource Center (ERC) is a non-profit organization located in Atlanta, Georgia, with 21 employees. Since its founding in 2003, ERC has focused on making healthcare and behavioral healthcare accessible to individuals living with HIV and other sexually transmitted infections in the southeastern United States. ERC provides a range of health-related programs and services, including HIV and STI prevention education, risk reduction counseling, testing, referral, and treatment services. They also offer client advocacy and navigation services, as well as primary care linkages. These services are delivered through their Comprehensive Intervention Clinic, Behavioral Health and Outreach Services, satellite locations, and the ERC on the M.O.V.E (Mobile Outreach Vehicle) program. ERC's clinic offers low-cost services to all clients and is recognized for its commitment to quality care. The clinic is a registered member of the Georgia Medical Composite Board, a participant in the Georgia Volunteer Health Care Program, and a nationally recognized STD clinic under the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration 340B program.
