Empoder

Empoder is a non-profit organization based in East Palo Alto, California, dedicated to empowering low-income communities through educational opportunities in engineering and computer science. Founded in 2014, Empoder employs a team of three individuals and generates an annual revenue of $2.5 million. Empoder offers a variety of programs designed to inspire and prepare students for careers in STEM fields. These include summer immersion programs, in-school initiatives, after-school activities, and weekend workshops. Their aim is to provide students with hands-on experiences and a strong foundation in engineering and computer science principles.
