EMPACT Northwest

EMPACT Northwest is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in the Seattle, Washington area. Focused on providing disaster relief, emergency medical training, and emergency medical systems development in developing nations, EMPACT Northwest operates with a team of four employees. The organization specializes in Urban Search & Rescue (USAR) operations, deploying highly trained volunteers, including firefighters, paramedics, physicians, nurses, and logistics professionals, to areas affected by disasters. EMPACT Northwest serves as a force multiplier for local authorities, implementing direct rescue operations and collaborating with partners to provide assistance. EMPACT Northwest's history includes deployments to Haiti, Sierra Leone, Pakistan, and Japan. Notably, EMPACT has deployed over 25 teams of instructors and clinical providers to Haiti, totaling over 250 volunteers.
