Emerald Necklace Conservancy

The Emerald Necklace Conservancy is a non-profit organization based in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. Founded in 1998, the organization employs 28 people and generates approximately $2.5 million in annual revenue. The Emerald Necklace Conservancy is dedicated to the restoration and improvement of the Emerald Necklace, Boston's largest park system. This seven-mile, 1,100-acre linear park stretches from Beacon Hill to Dorchester and includes six Frederick Law Olmsted-designed parks and four parkways.
