Electric Power Industry of Serbia

Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS), a joint stock company based in Serbia, is the largest company in the country. It serves as a crucial component of Serbia's economic and energy infrastructure. With approximately 677 employees, EPS generates over $1 billion in annual revenue. EPS specializes in the production, distribution, and trading of electricity. The company owns and operates coal mines, thermoelectric power plants, and hydroelectric power plants to generate electricity. EPS supplies power to over 3.4 million consumers across Serbia. The Republic of Serbia founded EPS, with the Government of the Republic of Serbia exercising the founder's rights. EPS's governance structure consists of the Assembly, the Supervisory Board, and the Executive Board.
