eiNetwork, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing shared technology services. Founded in 1996, eiNetwork serves 46 independent public libraries across Pittsburgh and Allegheny County, encompassing over 75 physical locations. eiNetwork offers a comprehensive suite of technology solutions tailored to the needs of libraries. These include a robust high-speed fiber network, ensuring secure internet access, along with PC management, a shared bibliographic database, and a public online catalog. Additionally, eiNetwork provides end-user technology support services and Microsoft 365 applications, encompassing email, file storage, collaboration tools, and productivity software. Funded by the Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD), eiNetwork's mission is to empower libraries to enhance their reach, impact, and service delivery within their communities.
