Edelman Planetarium

Edelman Planetarium is a small, educational facility located on the Rowan University campus in Glassboro, New Jersey. With a team of three employees, the planetarium generates an annual revenue of $2.5 million. The Edelman Planetarium offers a variety of instructional and entertaining programs centered around astronomy. These programs are designed to educate students from kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as members of the Rowan community and the general public in southern New Jersey. The planetarium serves as a public resource for astronomical information, providing live stargazing events and immersive 360-degree video experiences on its digital sky. To cater to specific groups, the planetarium offers private shows for school, church, and scout organizations. The planetarium also hosts public shows and special events, including one-time events and unique programming.
