EcoTarium

The EcoTarium is a private, non-profit historical museum located in Worcester, Massachusetts. With 67 employees, the museum is dedicated to inspiring a passion for science and nature through interactive exhibits and programs. The EcoTarium offers a variety of engaging experiences for visitors of all ages. Three floors of indoor exhibits, the Alden Digital Planetarium, and daily Science Discovery programs provide educational and entertaining opportunities. The museum also features live animal habitats, nature trails, and the expansive outdoor exhibit, Nature Explore®. A seasonal express train ride around the grounds adds to the immersive experience. The EcoTarium's mission is rooted in the Worcester community, tracing back to its founding in 1825 as the Worcester Lyceum of Natural History. Originally incorporated as the Worcester Natural History Society, the museum transitioned to its current identity, EcoTarium, in 1998, focusing on natural sciences and hands-on exploration.
