Eberhardt Student Investment Fund

The Eberhardt Student Investment Fund (SIF) is a class offered at the Eberhardt School of Business in Stockton, California. This program is designed for both MBA and undergraduate business students. The SIF is managed by a select group of students chosen through a competitive application process. The SIF provides students with the opportunity to manage a substantial investment portfolio exceeding 3 million dollars. This hands-on experience allows them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world financial management. The Bank of Stockton and its President and CEO Douglass Eberhardt sponsor the fund. Student participants in the Eberhardt SIF are held accountable to a board comprised of the dean, the university's vice president of business and finance, and four investment professionals. To ensure transparency and accuracy, an independent accounting firm audits the students' work, transactions, and annual report detailing their investment activities and outcomes. The Eberhardt SIF emphasizes social responsibility by distributing a portion of its net assets annually to benefit the University.
