East Harlem Tutorial Program

East Harlem Tutorial Program (EHTP) is a non-profit organization based in New York, New York. Founded in 1958, EHTP has grown from a volunteer-run reading group to a multifaceted educational program serving over 1,600 students from pre-K to college. EHTP employs approximately 100 people and generates an annual revenue of $50 million. EHTP offers a range of educational services, including after-school and summer programs for students in traditional public schools, a network of public charter schools called East Harlem Scholars Academies, a College Scholars program, and the East Harlem Teaching Residency.
