Earth House

Earth House is a small non-profit organization based in Dhaka. Employing five people, Earth House focuses on environmental education and sustainable practices. Earth House operates a city farm that offers hands-on workshops for children, aiming to foster a connection with nature. The organization is dedicated to establishing an organic seed bank and promoting rooftop food growing through community groups. Earth House's vision extends beyond Dhaka, envisioning similar "Earth Houses" around the world. These proposed locations would be self-sufficient, preserving traditional skills and knowledge through intergenerational learning. Visitors are welcome to attend workshops at Earth House, where they can explore traditional play, stories, songs, food, and art. Earth House also invites industry professionals to open days, showcasing sustainable technologies that can minimize environmental impact.
