Earth Data Analysis Center

The Earth Data Analysis Center (EDAC) is a small organization located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Established in 1964 at the University of New Mexico, EDAC focuses on transferring NASA space-based technology to both the private and public sectors. EDAC provides a range of geospatial technology services and products to a diverse clientele, including Federal agencies, state, local, and tribal governments, professional societies, organizations, and advisory bodies. They specialize in geospatial data management and analysis, offering resources such as the interactive mapping tool and data clearinghouse, RGIS, which provides access to a vast collection of spatial datasets. The Image Archive team at EDAC serves users by providing data and metadata for various geospatial products, including aerial photography, space shuttle imagery, satellite imagery, topographic maps, and digital data. EDAC's multidisciplinary team comprises experts from fields like Geography, Anthropology, and Geology, enabling them to collaborate effectively with diverse project partners and end-user communities.
