Early Learning Coalition of Seminole

The Early Learning Coalition of Seminole is a non-profit organization based in Longwood, Florida. With a team of six employees, the organization is dedicated to improving early childhood development and access to quality care in Seminole County. ELC provides financial assistance for childcare to families, helping them access affordable options. They also offer a resource matching service to connect families with childcare providers that meet their specific needs and preferences. Beyond financial support and resource guidance, the Early Learning Coalition of Seminole conducts developmental screenings to ensure children are reaching milestones and offers free vision and hearing screenings for children aged 0-4. They also partner with local agencies to provide training and evaluations for childcare teachers and guidance for caregivers on locating early intervention resources. These efforts aim to support early intervention and reduce the need for more costly interventions later in a child's life.
