DreamCatchers Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Palo Alto, California, dedicated to supporting the academic and personal growth of low-income middle school students. With a team of five dedicated employees, DreamCatchers serves approximately 65 students attending schools within the Palo Alto Unified School District. DreamCatchers provides a unique and comprehensive program designed to equip students for success in high school and beyond. The organization offers twice-weekly, individualized tutoring sessions led by near-peer high school or Stanford University students. These personalized sessions allow for customized academic plans tailored to each student’s unique strengths and challenges. Beyond academic support, DreamCatchers recognizes the importance of family and social-emotional well-being. They actively engage parents and foster a supportive community environment, recognizing that student success is a shared journey.
