It has grown to become the largest hardship fund in Pennsylvania and one of the largest in the country. The organization has been there for families in need, helping them with their utility bills. Unfortunately, the need is growing due to increased costs of everyday living expenses and severe winters. These circumstances have caused our average utility assistance grant to increase, which means we are able to help fewer families with the same amount of money. Dollar Energy Fund is dedicated to providing financial assistance and support to individuals and families struggling to pay their heating and cooling bills.
