Delta Center

Delta Center is a sports and entertainment venue located in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is a large-scale facility, employing 35 people and boasting a seating capacity of nearly 20,000. Completed in October 1991, the arena was constructed at a record pace of 15 months and 24 days, making it the fastest-built arena in the world at the time. The building's impressive size extends beyond its seating capacity, encompassing a footprint of 3.79 acres. Delta Center stands out for its remarkable construction speed and scale. The arena required a substantial amount of materials, including 100,000 cubic yards of concrete, 80,300 square feet of glass, 500,000 concrete blocks, 21,000 square yards of carpet, 3 million pounds of structural steel, and 7.6 million pounds of rebar.
