DC Schools Project

The DC Schools Project is a non-profit organization based in Washington, District of Columbia. It employs 24 people and generates an annual revenue of $50 million. The organization provides ESL (English as a Second Language) and English literacy tutoring, mentoring, and advocacy services. Their primary focus is on supporting low-income immigrant youth and their families in Washington, D.C. Established in 1984, the DC Schools Project was created to address the needs of Central American immigrants who arrived in the area during the Salvadoran Civil War.
