Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court

The Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court is a legal institution located in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 1902, it is the second oldest juvenile court in the United States and employs over 550 people. The Court’s staff includes six judges, 26 magistrates, and a dedicated team of court employees and judge's staff, who work across the central location and satellite offices. The Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court is dedicated to administering justice, rehabilitating juveniles, supporting and strengthening families, and promoting public safety. The Court's structure includes Courtrooms, Court Administration, Legal, and Court Operations departments, each specializing in various aspects of the judicial process. The Court Administration department oversees Probation Services, Programming, Training & Quality Assurance, while the Legal department comprises the Clerk of Court, Diagnostic Clinic, Fiscal Resources, and Human Resources.
