Crime Victims Treatment Center

The Crime Victims Treatment Center (CVTC) is a non-profit organization based in New York, New York. Staffed by 52 employees, CVTC has been providing support to survivors of interpersonal violence since 1977. CVTC offers a range of services designed to help survivors heal from the trauma of violence. These services include crisis intervention, individual and group trauma-focused therapy, legal advocacy, complementary therapy, and psychiatric consultation. The center provides support from the immediate aftermath of an assault through the entirety of the survivor's healing process. CVTC distinguishes itself by providing all of its services completely free of charge and with complete confidentiality. The center’s goal is to be a safe and supportive space for survivors to begin their journey toward healing.
