Conservancy of Southwest Florida

The Conservancy of Southwest Florida is a not-for-profit organization based in Naples, Florida. Founded in 1964, it has grown to be one of the largest and most respected environmental organizations in the state. The Conservancy employs 107 people and generates $20 million in annual revenue. The Conservancy is dedicated to protecting the water, land, and wildlife of Southwest Florida. They achieve this through a multi-pronged approach that includes environmental education, scientific research, policy advocacy, and wildlife rehabilitation. The von Arx Wildlife Hospital, a key component of their mission, treats over 3,200 injured, sick, and orphaned animals annually, releasing roughly half of them back into their natural habitats. Visitors to Naples can experience the Conservancy's commitment firsthand at their 21-acre Nature Center. Located at 1450 Merrihue Drive, off Goodlette-Frank Road at 14th Avenue North, the center offers opportunities to learn about local ecosystems and conservation efforts.
