Conrad Challenge

The Conrad Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Taylor Lake Village, Texas. As a 501c(3), the organization is dedicated to promoting contextual learning, 21st-century skills, education, collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship. With a team of 15 employees, the Conrad Foundation strives to empower students to apply these skills in creating a sustainable future. The Conrad Foundation's flagship program, the Conrad Challenge, focuses on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. This program brings together a community of innovators and entrepreneurs who collaborate to develop solutions in four key areas: Aerospace & Aviation, Cyber Technology & Security, Energy & Environment, and Health & Nutrition. The Conrad Challenge encourages the development of extraordinary and viable solutions to benefit the world. The organization's work is driven by the legacy of Pete Conrad, the late Apollo 12 astronaut and third person to walk on the Moon, and his wife Nancy Conrad, who founded the organization in 2008.
