Community Center of La Canada Flintridge

The Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization based in La Cañada Flintridge, California. Established in 1949, the Center is a cornerstone of the Foothill Communities, providing enriching, recreational, and educational opportunities for members of the La Cañada community and surrounding areas. With a staff of four employees, the organization has served thousands of children and adults over its 70-year history. The Center offers a variety of programs and services, including the La Cañada Flintridge Community Center Preschool. The Preschool provides a half-day program for children ages three through five, with extended care options available. The program fosters a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where children can engage in age-appropriate activities that promote social, intellectual, physical, and emotional growth. Originially known as the La Cañada Youth House, the Center was built entirely by volunteers. Today, it remains dedicated to serving the needs of the community and providing a welcoming space for all to meet, grow, learn, and thrive.
