Colorado Youth Corps Association

The Colorado Youth Corps Association (CYCA) is a non-profit organization based in Denver, Colorado. With five employees, CYCA works to advance the youth conservation corps movement across the state. CYCA supports ten independently operating youth conservation corps through technical assistance, resource development, and fundraising. They help these organizations secure private, federal, and state funding through grants and fee-for-service contracts. CYCA also manages an accreditation program to ensure high standards and consistent practices across all youth corps programs. CYCA's focus is on engaging young people in environmental stewardship by providing opportunities to participate in land, water, and energy conservation projects. These programs cultivate valuable skills and foster a sense of community service in youth, young adults, and military veterans.
