Clayton Center for the Arts

The Clayton Center for the Arts is a performing arts center located on the Maryville College campus in Maryville, Tennessee. With 24 employees, the center is a unique partnership between the College and the cities of Maryville and Alcoa. The center offers a variety of performances and events across three different spaces: the 1,200-seat Ronald and Lynda Nutt Theatre, the 250-seat Harold and Jean Lambert Recital Hall, and the 200-seat Haslam Family Flexible Theatre. The Nutt Theatre hosts dance, theatre, concerts, lectures, and other large-scale events. The Lambert Recital Hall is perfect for musicians and smaller performance groups. The Haslam Family Flexible Theatre can accommodate both amateur and professional theatrical productions. In addition to performances, three art galleries showcase collections and works of art from Appalachia and beyond.
