The City of San Fernando is a municipal government located in San Fernando, California. This compact city covers 2.4 square miles and serves a population of 25,000 residents. The City of San Fernando was incorporated in 1911 and operates under a City Council/City Manager form of government. The City of San Fernando provides a variety of essential services to its residents through seven full-service departments, including administration, city clerk, finance, community development, police, public works, and recreation and community services.
