CILMAR

CILMAR, part of Purdue University, is a small research center located in West Lafayette, Indiana. With four employees, CILMAR is dedicated to promoting and facilitating intercultural learning both within Purdue University and in the broader community. Their mission centers around creating inclusive environments that foster a sense of belonging and community. CILMAR provides a variety of resources and opportunities aimed at developing intercultural competence. These include mentorship programs for aspiring intercultural leaders, support for innovative research in the field of intercultural studies, and encouragement of best practices in teaching and learning that embrace diversity. The Center for Intercultural Learning, Mentorship, Assessment and Research believes that intercultural competence is essential for navigating an increasingly interconnected world.
