Christ Community Church

Christ Community Church is a religious organization based in South Holland, Illinois. With over 530 employees, the church has experienced significant growth since its inception in 1984. Starting with a small group of six families, Christ Community Church now boasts over 5,000 weekend attendees across multiple campuses, including locations in DeKalb County, southern Kane County, and Cook County. The church offers a variety of services and activities for its congregation, including weekend celebration services held in a 2,000-seat auditorium. Christ Community Church is dedicated to reaching out to those who are spiritually lost, with over 200 new believers baptized each year. Weekly activities take place in their expansive 100,000 square foot St. Charles Campus. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Jim Nicodem since 1984, Christ Community Church prioritizes prayer and spiritual growth. Pastor Nicodem, a native of the Midwest, holds a BA from Wheaton College, an MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a DMin from the same institution. He is the author of "Prayer Coach," a book encouraging individuals to engage in a deeper prayer life.
