Child Family Resources

Child & Family Resources (CFR) is a non-profit organization based in Mount Arlington, New Jersey. Established in 1972, it is a small organization with four employees and generates over $10,000 in annual revenue. For over 50 years, CFR has been dedicated to supporting the development of children and strengthening families in New Jersey. CFR offers a wide range of programs and services designed to improve the lives of families and children. They provide information and resources about child care options, quality indicators, and factors to consider when choosing child care. CFR also brings in funding for child care quality improvement initiatives, professional development training for educators, the creation of additional child care programs, family child care provider registration, parenting education, and financial assistance for income-eligible families. Child & Family Resources is nationally recognized for its expertise in developing and implementing pilot initiatives to enhance the quality of services provided by community-based child care programs. CFR also serves as the state's child care resource and referral organization for Morris County.
