Chaoyang University of Technology

Chaoyang University of Technology is a four-year technology college located in Central Taiwan. With a total of approximately 16,600 students and faculty, the university is known for its commitment to providing a high-quality education. Founded in 1994, Chaoyang University of Technology was initially established as a private technical college, becoming the first of its kind in Taiwan. The institution was later renamed Chaoyang University of Technology in 1997 after demonstrating exceptional academic performance. The university comprises five colleges: the College of Management, College of Science and Engineering, College of Design, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and College of Informatics. Students can pursue a range of academic programs, including five doctoral programs, 18 master's programs, 22 departments, and one bachelor's degree program. Chaoyang University of Technology has been recognized for its dedication to teaching excellence. From 2006 to 2012, the university received funding through the Ministry of Education's Teaching Excellence Program.
