The Centro de Rehabilitación para Adultos Ciegos-CRAC is a non-profit organization located in Bogotá, Colombia. Established over 50 years ago, the CRAC has grown to be a leading provider of rehabilitation services for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. With a team of 40 dedicated professionals, the CRAC serves approximately 358 users across its main branch and regional centers. The CRAC offers a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to empower individuals with vision loss to achieve independence and full participation in society. Through specialized training and support, individuals develop essential skills in areas such as orientation and mobility, assistive technology, and daily living activities. The organization's services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering their personal and professional growth. The CRAC's holistic approach to rehabilitation has gained international recognition. Its model, developed in collaboration with representatives from other countries, has been adopted as a standard by the Unión Latinoamericana de Ciegos (ULAC) for the entire region.
