Centre for Medicines Discovery

The Centre for Medicines Discovery is a multi-disciplinary Institute located in the United States. It is part of the University of Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Medicine and has 13 employees. The Centre focuses on translational activities to accelerate the discovery and development of new medicines for patients. Their areas of expertise include inherited and rare diseases, antimicrobial resistance, autoimmunity, inflammation, gastrointestinal, respiratory, cardiometabolic, and central nervous system diseases. The Centre leverages cutting-edge technologies in genetics, genomics, molecular biology, structural biology, single cell biology, and spatial imaging to advance drug targeting and pre-clinical development.
