CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS SPECIAL EDUCATION COLLABORATIVE

The Central Massachusetts Collaborative (CMC) is a public school entity based in Worcester, Massachusetts. Founded in 1975, CMC is approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. As a collaborative, CMC partners with three member districts and serves over 400 students within those districts and 36 surrounding cities and towns. CMC provides specialized educational services to children with unique needs. Their commitment is to offer quality education while also providing cost-effective solutions for member and non-member public school districts. The team of over 200 full-time employees aims to empower students through increased self-determination, independence, and academic achievement. CMC operates under the guidelines of the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section 4e, ensuring their practices align with delivering high-quality education to students requiring specialized services.
