Center for Public Research and Leadership

The Center for Public Research and Leadership (CPRL) is a center located in New York, New York. Founded in 2011, CPRL is affiliated with Columbia University. CPRL employs 53 individuals. CPRL focuses on developing future leaders within the education sector. They achieve this by supporting the transformation of public school systems into learner-centered, equity-focused organizations. CPRL aims to ensure that every student receives exceptional learning experiences. Their efforts extend to providing research, policy, and legal expertise to hundreds of school systems and education organizations across the United States and internationally. CPRL distinguishes itself through its commitment to developing leaders from diverse backgrounds. Since its inception, CPRL has cultivated nearly 700 leaders from a variety of graduate programs, including law, business, education, policy, and data science.
