Center for Black Equity

The Center for Black Equity is a small institution located in Washington, District of Columbia. With a staff of three, the organization has achieved an annual revenue of $2.5 million. CBE is dedicated to supporting leaders, institutions, and programs that promote health, economic, and social equity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) people of African descent. Since its inception in 1999, CBE has actively engaged with pressing social issues.
