CEEDS OF PEACE

CEEDS OF PEACE is a small organization based in Honolulu, Hawaii, with 5 to 9 employees. The organization focuses on building leadership skills in adults who work with children, as well as in children themselves. They provide programs that teach social-emotional learning and development, aiming to equip each child with the life skills needed to become a peacebuilder. CEEDS OF PEACE believes in a collaborative approach, involving communities, schools, and families in developing tailored action plans to address local challenges. Their program emphasizes the development of seven key "C" skills: critical thinking, courage, conflict resolution, compassion, collaboration, commitment, and community engagement. Through workshops, participants—teachers, administrators, families, and community members—discuss their shared responsibility in nurturing these critical skills in young people.
