Carson Valley Health (CVH) is a non-profit, state-accredited critical access hospital located in Gardnerville, Nevada. The hospital is a joint partnership of Barton Health of South Lake Tahoe and Renown Health of Reno, and employs 232 individuals. CVH generates annual revenue of $100 million. CVH provides a wide range of healthcare services to the residents of Carson Valley, Genoa, Gardnerville, Minden, Topaz Ranch, and surrounding areas. These services include primary care, cardiology, oncology, surgery, and more. CVH operates 23 licensed patient beds and offers additional outpatient services such as physical therapy, infusion therapy, medical imaging, and wellness lab draws. Beyond traditional hospital services, CVH operates seven off-site primary care clinics, an urgent care center, and a comprehensive range of specialized departments. The hospital is currently undergoing a major expansion project which began in 2021 and is slated for completion in 2024. This expansion aims to improve access to care, enhance the patient environment, and expand critical services such as the emergency room, operating rooms, oncology, and laboratory facilities.
