Camp Southern Ground

Camp Southern Ground is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Fayetteville, Georgia. Founded by multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning artist Zac Brown, the organization serves a staff of 15 employees and generates over $10,000 in annual revenue. Camp Southern Ground's mission is to empower individuals to recognize and cultivate their unique talents, fostering impactful change within themselves and the world. During the summer months, the organization offers week-long residential camp sessions for children aged 7 to 17. These sessions bring together a diverse group of campers, including those with learning and neurodevelopmental differences such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as children from military families. The camp program emphasizes personal growth, learning, and fostering a sense of community through outdoor activities, exploration, and healthy meals. Beyond summer camp, Camp Southern Ground is dedicated to supporting veterans year-round. Their signature program, Warrior Week, is a workforce and wellness transition program that assists veterans in finding new purpose and direction after military service. Additionally, they offer Warrior PATHH (Progressive Alternative Training for Healing Heroes), a non-clinical program designed to cultivate post-traumatic growth among combat veterans grappling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and combat stress.
