California PreDental Society

The California Pre-Dental Society (Cal PDS) is a registered student organization based in Berkeley, California. The small organization is comprised of three employees. Cal PDS is dedicated to supporting pre-dental students at the University of California, Berkeley, by providing them with resources and opportunities to prepare for dental school and a career in dentistry. Cal PDS offers its members a variety of programs and activities, including conferences, presentations from dental professionals, dental school tours, social events, shadowing opportunities, DAT practice resources, and Q&A panels with dental students. Cal PDS also emphasizes community service and encourages its members to participate in dental education outreach programs, particularly in underprivileged school-aged communities throughout the Bay Area. One of their most significant projects is the Dental Education Outreach Program (DEOP), which aims to improve oral health education and awareness among youth. Cal PDS is committed to providing its members with the knowledge, skills, and experience they need to succeed in their dental education and careers.
