California Independent Petroleum Association

The California Independent Petroleum Association (CIPA) is a non-profit, non-partisan trade association based in Sacramento, California. With a staff of 5, CIPA advocates for the interests of approximately 500 independent crude oil and natural gas producers, royalty owners, and service and supply companies operating in the state. CIPA's members contribute significantly to California's energy landscape, representing approximately 70% of the state's oil production and 90% of its natural gas production.
