California Fire Chiefs Association

The California Fire Chiefs Association, established in 1897, is a professional organization headquartered in Sacramento, California. Originally known as the California Fire Chiefs Club, the association has evolved into one of the largest and most influential state chiefs' associations in the United States. The association represents over 650 fire chiefs from nearly 1,000 emergency services agencies, along with 1,500 Section members. Its eight Sections focus on providing valuable resources in specialized areas such as Fire Operations, Fire Prevention, Training, Emergency Management, Administrative Support Services, Communications, Fire Mechanics, and Emergency Medical Services. Additionally, the association has a Legislative Division, including a dedicated Legislative Taskforce.
