Brunswick County Association of REALTORSÂ

The Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR) is a trade association based in Shallotte, North Carolina. With six employees, the organization serves REALTORS®, appraisers, and affiliate members in the southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina region. Chartered in 1959 by the National Association of REALTORS®, BCAR represents the interests of its members and provides them with access to a registered trademark, the REALTOR® designation, which signifies adherence to a strict Code of Ethics. BCAR offers a comprehensive Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and tax data interface, featuring a detailed list of properties for sale and general property information for the southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina regions. This resource allows members to effectively connect buyers and sellers in the local market. Beyond property listings, BCAR plays an active role in advocating for its members' interests. The Governmental Affairs Department ensures that members' voices are heard on local, state, and federal legislative issues. Additionally, the association offers a variety of educational programs designed to help members obtain REALTOR® Designations, fulfill Continuing Education requirements, and enhance their professionalism to better serve their clients.
