Brown Derivatives Investment Group

The Brown Derivatives Investment Group (BDIG) is a newly established association based in the United States. The group is comprised of seven employees. BDIG focuses on providing educational resources and investment management opportunities for Brown University students interested in finance and derivatives. BDIG offers educational sessions covering market trends, investment decision techniques, and the use of derivatives in portfolio management. Members can actively participate in buy or sell proposals, gaining hands-on experience. The organization also manages a portfolio of derivative investments, utilizing the collective knowledge and perspectives of its student members. BDIG's investment process is democratic and involves a team of students presenting a buy or sell proposal, followed by a Q&A session and a final vote by the members. Weekly proposals offer opportunities for members with limited experience to engage in the investment process by volunteering.
